Suggested use
Stovetop Cooking Instructions
This product is raw and must be cooked in order to enjoy its delicious flavor.
- Using a fine mesh sieve, thoroughly rinse 1 cup of quinoa under cold water until the water runs clear.
- Place quinoa in a medium saucepan with 1/3 cup water or broth” and bring to a fast simmer.
- Cover with a tight-fitting lid.
- Reduce heat to maintain a low simmer and cook for 17 minutes.
- Remove from heat (keep covered) and let steam for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork and enjoy.
Tip: If rice is too firm at the end of cooking, add 1-2 tbsp. liquid and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes.
Rice cooker: To prepare in a rice cooker, use the same rice to liquid ratio as stovetop instructions.
We recommend refrigeration for extended shelf life.
